Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: February 15, 2026
1. Your Privacy Rights
Multiple U.S. state privacy laws grant residents the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. SweepFeed honors these rights regardless of your state of residence.
1.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information. Under the CCPA/CPRA, "sale" is broadly defined to include making personal information available to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, and "sharing" includes making personal information available for cross-context behavioral advertising.
1.2 Colorado Privacy Act (CPA)
Colorado residents have the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for the purposes of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data.
1.3 Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA)
Connecticut residents have the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising and the sale of personal data.
1.4 Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA)
Virginia residents have the right to opt out of the processing of personal data for targeted advertising and the sale of personal data.
1.5 Other States
As additional state privacy laws take effect (including laws in Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, and others), SweepFeed will honor applicable opt-out rights under those laws.
2. Our Practices
SweepFeed may share certain data with advertising and analytics partners in ways that could constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable state laws. Categories of information that may be involved include:
- Identifiers (e.g., device IDs, advertising IDs, IP address)
- Internet or electronic network activity (e.g., browsing patterns, sweepstakes entry patterns)
- Behavioral and interest profiles (e.g., inferred interests, intent segments)
- Geolocation data (city/region level)
3. How to Opt Out
You have multiple ways to exercise your opt-out right:
3.1 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
SweepFeed honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or browser extension sends a GPC signal, we will automatically treat it as a valid opt-out request. No further action is needed on your part. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.
3.2 Privacy Settings
Click the "Privacy Settings" link in our website footer to manage your advertising and data sharing preferences directly.
3.3 Email Request

4. What Happens After You Opt Out

- You will still see advertisements on SweepFeed, but they will not be personalized based on your data shared with third parties
- You will retain full access to all SweepFeed features and functionality
- We will not discriminate against you in any way for exercising this right, including by denying you services, charging different prices, or providing a different quality of service
5. Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide:
- Proof of authorization (power of attorney or a signed, written authorization from you)
- Verification of the agent's identity
We may also verify your identity directly before processing the request submitted by your authorized agent.
6. Opt-Out Confirmation (CCPA 2026)
In compliance with the 2026 CCPA/CPRA amendments, SweepFeed provides mandatory confirmation for all opt-out requests:
- Email Confirmation: Within 24 hours of submitting an opt-out request through any method (GPC signal, Privacy Settings, or email), you will receive a confirmation email containing: a unique confirmation ID, the date your request was processed, the specific categories of data affected, and instructions to revoke the opt-out if desired
- Processing Timeline: Your opt-out takes effect immediately for all future data sharing and within 15 business days for any data already in processing pipelines
- Annual Verification: Once per year, we will send a reminder confirming your opt-out status remains active and providing instructions to update your preferences
- Record Keeping: SweepFeed maintains records of all opt-out requests for a minimum of 24 months, including the method of request, date processed, and confirmation sent
